Truffle tasting and hunt experience
The business was founded in 1987. Thanks to the precious traditions handed down by his father, a truffle dealer, and his mother, a cook for aristocratic families, Claudio Savini has integrated the ancient truffle tradition into the company philosophy, expanding the kingdom of white truffles by selling them all over the world. Exclusive experiences are also organised to try and learn the practice of truffle hunting, with buffets and tastings.

GEMIGNANI FRANCESCO TRUFFLES
Francesco has always lived the hunt for truffles. Ever since he was a child he accompanied his father into the woods. The game then became a passion. Francesco Gemignani runs a restaurant in San Donato serving his products in the restaurant he runs with the precious help of his wife.

GAZZARRINI TARTUFI S.N.C.
Already at the beginning of 1900 Eugenio Gazzarrini (born in 1885) marketed the precious tuber making it known all over Italy. It was thanks to his intuition and initiative that he introduced on the market also the truffle preserved in its natural state, at that time in “tin cans”. A preservation method that won an award in 1924. Since then, the company has continued to market the San Miniato white truffle.

In Corazzano, the Tartufi Nacci family has its roots firmly planted in the territory. For generations they have been training truffle dogs to find the best products, which are then processed by calibrating the right techniques, tradition and innovation in order to offer unique products of the highest quality. During the tours they organise, it is possible to learn the training techniques used for their four-legged hunting companions while tasting some local products.

GEMIGNANI TRUFFLES S.R.L.
The history of Gemignani Tartufi s.r.l. began in the 1930s in a small grocery shop where people started buying from local truffle hunters. The activity has been handed down for four generations. Today it is Filippo who carries on the ancient family trade. In the historic centre of San Miniato is the Punto Vendita, a real boutique specialising in the sale of products carefully selected from local gatherers and using high quality raw materials.

Alessio is the heir to the Gemignani family of truffle merchants, who have traded in truffles since 1930. In Balconevisi Mistica and Leonardo Gemignani started the activity in their grocery shop; the farmers and truffle hunters of the time had here a reference point to resell their harvests. From here the business expanded, establishing itself as one of the leading players in the area. The Gemignani family can also be credited with the first cream preserve, cooked in a pot full of water.

Selektia was founded in 2008 by Simone Calugi, who created a new business reality: the precious tuber is collected from the San Miniato hills, the Balze Volteranee and the Crete Senesi; it is selected and processed using the most innovative technologies. A selection that also includes gluten-free products, a Bio Line and a Gourmet Line. Scrupulous attention is paid to the selection of raw materials, to offer the best of the Tuscan gastronomic tradition.

SAN LUIGI FARM “TEO’S TRUFFLES”
The company was founded in 2009 following the renovation of an old farmhouse. It converted to Organic following the idea of short supply chain to connect directly the collector to the consumer. The line of organic truffle products is made in the small artisan laboratory directly on the farm. There are no synthetic flavourings and production follows the seasonality of the truffle. The farm also has a sales point where fresh truffles and all its products can be purchased.
