Guided tour in the historic center of San Miniato
San Miniato has so much to offer. It will be an honor for me to take you on a discovery of this beautiful medieval city. My name is Sara and I am a tour guide. I will introduce you to the history of San Miniato by our meeting point in Piazza del prato where sets the Cathedral. Here we will visit the oldest part of the city which includes many historical buildings.
We will then reach the highest part of San Miniato dominated by the majestic Tower of Federico II: once we climb to the top, we will be able to enjoy a beautiful 360 degree panorama of the whole valley.
Back in the city center, we will visit the Church of the Santissimo Crocifisso and Piazza della Repubblica with the famous Palazzo del Seminario Vescovile.
Our visit will end in Piazza del Popolo with a visit to the Church of San Domenico which houses a very particular fresco…
